This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Vintage American Primitive Carry Basket. Circa Early to Mid 20th Century. It is Completely Hand Made – Hand Woven out of Indigenous Brown Ash Wood splint. It has Exceptionally Nice Workmanship – Attention to Detail in the Weaving – Construction – Composition Etc. It also has a Wonderful Natural Aged Color and Patina. This is a Very Strong – Heavy Gauge Splint – Tightly Woven Basket. It is in Excellent Condition – Displays Beautifully. I acquired this piece in the Down East Coastal Maine Region.
Basket itself measures 7 inches Tall x 14 1/2 inches Long x 8 3/4 inches Wide.
It is 12 inches Tall including the Carry Handle.
